The prestigious hotel industry award “Hotelier of the Year - Special Award” presented by the ahgz goes to Ruby founder & CEO Michael Struck in 2023. With its Lean Luxury philosophy, the Hotel Group has been breaking innovative ground for ten years now, creating a contemporary, affordable form of luxury.
The Ruby Group continues to expand and is now bringing its Lean Luxury philosophy to France. In the heart of Marseille, BNP Paribas Real Estate is launching a Ruby Hotel with 237 rooms and an adjoining workspace of approximately 1,000 sqm.
The Ruby Group has secured its second project in Italy. In the heart of the Italian capital Rome, Ruby will realize a hotel with approximately 165 rooms together with ECE Work & Live as project developer and investor.
Since the beginning of the year, Ruby has enabled fathers to take up to 10 days of paternity leave after childbirth, with full pay.
Led by Michael Struck, Ruby is working with ARA Europe to build a new hotel with 272 rooms and over 500 m2 of public areas, continuing the group’s international expansion drive.
After London and Dublin, Edinburgh follows. At the end of 2025, the Lean Luxury Group will open a Ruby Hotel with around 300 rooms in the Scottish capital.
